Default Wait time before running VHT painted slip ons?

So while I had some down time I cleaned up and painted a pair of cycle shack slip ons. Used the VHT engine paint 3 days ago. Says 7 days to full cure but I wanted to get them installed to take a ride since there is a break in the weather up here. Will this foul up the paint or actually help cure them?

I used the flat black VHT header paint on mine. I let them sit over night, installed them, let the bike idle 10-15min until everything was good and hot, then let it cool completely down, then went for a ride. Still look like the day I painted them and easy to keep clean.
