Has Anyone Tried The New Hooker Mid Length Slash Cuts?
Has anyone tried these out yet?
I know Hooker had the stepped pipes with 2.25" outer pipe, but they were only available in the "Long" or the "Short Staggered" lengths for Dyna's.
Noticed that they came out with these, which are called Mid-Length Slash Cut Drag Pipes. Apparently they have the same setup, stepped inner pipe and 2.25" outer pipe.
Look nice with the slash cut, and I like the length.

Well, I guess I'll be the first to "test drive" these.....
I've heard good reports about the double walled Hooker stepped tuned headers, and I like this new "mid" length, especially with the slash cuts... I think they will look good on the FXDWG.
Ordered a set today from Krooners, and I'm anxious to get them on and try them out as soon as they arrive...

I put a set of short staggerds slash cuts on my fatboy. Obnoxiously loud (emphasize obnoxious) so I put baffles in which toned it down some. I like them but am having a hard time trying to find the right jet size for the carburetor.
