I learned to adjust the push rod when the like tappet on the opposite cylinder was at the highest point. Has this changed with the Twin Cam? And can anyone tell me how many turns (flats) for the Andrews and SE push rods? Pitch or thread per inch is bound to make a differance.
Freedom ther are several push rods manufactures out there and several thread pitches bring used. The best thing you can do is call the Co that makes the rod your using andask them. I can tell you that we are looking for .100 to .120 preload on the lifter.
