Push rods And TDC

Default Push rods And TDC
Changed all my engine chrome to black did the TDC with straw the book says after torqued the rods should move freely. Mine don’t move freely. Am I ok I don’t want to bend a rod or valve.

Allow rh lifters to bleed down for 30 minutes and they will move at TDC. The final torque.

Mine take about 5 minutes. They are only preloaded .100" IF you actually set the preload at TDC (for each cylinder).

To make it easy, if one cylinder isn't on TDC of compression, the other one is.

I was Following the manual exactly all stock components. I would just hate to take everything apart again

I forgot to mention this is my 2015 row glide special with only 700 miles on it just don’t want to **** nothing up I’ll
