Well just put about 500 on it. Finally got to open her up some. Man, this 600 S&S cam really likes to come on strong. Up hills just blip the throttle and she just rolls right on. Was coming back from the Lady Liberty ride yesterday, got to open her up following my 2 buddies. It's just way too easy to fly along now, but nice to know that the power is there for when you want it!
Now, I will bring it back, have the top end checked out(check valves, adjust if needed, make sure everything still torqued down) change fluids, plugs, and away we go again!
Curious to see what my dyno numbers will be.
Phil, I hear ya. I bought my pick up and swore it was just for picking up stuff for the house, it's got over 10" of lift, 39.5" Irok's on it, with aftermarket sound system, etc..........yea.......addictive!
TIPN8R glad that you are happy with the outcome
and I may be in your position and doin the same thing
Out on the EVO Bagger yesterday with the Mrs and starting hearing
some commotion (other than her in my ear) Looking down for
something loose can't find anything. Decide it's time to head home
and she starts wanting to shut down at low speed/low throttle
A little gas she picks up, noise coming and going.
Hopefully its a collapsed lifter, maybe an oil pump heading south
But may turn into open heart surgery, if so I'll be checkin on your build
