Default O2 sensor

I recently had my bike (2012 Street Bob) in the shop to change out the rocker heads (converting to all black) and have been out riding a few times with no issues. However, I was bored today and went out to the garage just to look at a few things and noticed that the cable coming out of the rear exhaust pipe (V&H short shots) was just hanging there. I don't know if it was tucked up in the engine area not being used and fell down. I tuck my battery tender lead back there so it doesn't rest on the hot engine and melt. Not sure if I unhooked it when I was fishing the leads out to my battery tender. I've looked around and don't see a place for it to plug in. Not sure how long it's been like that Or if it just happened.

Not positive but I think it's under the right side cover. Was your check engine light on?

No lights, no issues. Bike was running fine.

It connects under your seat.

As mentioned, remove the seat and the rear o2 connector is right there.

You said no codes, is it possible you have a tuner on your bike? If so, the o2 sensors are likely not being used. Some folks plug them, some just leave em. But if you have a tuner installed, I would just zip tie the o2 wire up close to the factory connection point, which again is under the seat.
