Default Rocker boxes screws/bolts Loctite yes or no?

Hi guys, just a few quick q, would like some input.
Just replaced my heavily rust pitted rocker covers, but was thinking, before I tighten it all down, should I or shouldn't I lock all screws/bolts down with Loctite ?
Is it really all that good to use Loctite when a screw goes in to alminium that gets heated up ? And what with the screwholes that got oil in them, will Loctite work ?
If Loctite, what strength would be preferred ?
And then another question, don't need an answer for this one (anymore) but nevertheless, why is it so little space on a softail Evo to get the rear mid rocker cover out, a tiny bit of pushrod lift, hardly noticeable and it's almost impossible to get the darn thing out ..... Compact build !!!
TIA guys.

Just a tab of lock tite will be fine....most people use too much and that also can be worse than none at all. Lock tite sets up when there is a lack of air so even if you have oil in a hole the lock tite will set up. The only problem with oil in the hole is you get what is called a wet torque, this changes your torque value. It's recommended to cleanthe oil from the threads for the correct torque unless it specifies to have a wet torque application.

Q-tip soaked with alcohol works pretty good fro removing oils from bolt holes, just let it sit a while to dry out.

Thanks doc and chief, even though I'm not an advocate of Loctite, as you mentioned, used too much and it can have undesired effects, but on a Harley, it is a necessity, but it's worth it for the piece of mind.
