95inch build will be a set of KB performance flat tops, a set of stock 88 jugs bored and honed, Andrews 37G's, and heads polished, ported and milled to a CR between 9.5 and 10:1 depending on the what the shop doing the machine work thinks.
I'm starting to get all the peices of the build now and once I have all my peices I'll tear down the bike this winter, Feb or March. Hopefully I should get some good numbers with these pieces.
05 FXDWGi with SE AC, V&H straightshot slipons and PCIII so far. I'm looking for close to 100ftlbs and over 90 hp with a good solid TQ curve. I have a good tuner so I'm not worried about that. I've seen a lot of good looking dyno runs with these or very similar parts.
You have a pretty solid build planned. I like the combo except for the exhaust.A good quality 2 into 1 or stock headpipes and cycleshacks maybe give you a MUCH better torque curve though. Although i have never seen a dyno chart with your slip ons...So they may or may not be optimal.
Dont forget the baisely spring. and cometic .030 head gasket and have the head shop set the compression under 10:1...9.7-9.8 will do it.
Have a 05 RKC
SE Performer Heads
SE intake
PCIII
Andrews TW 37 b chain drives
Stock head pipes, Samson rolled thunder slip ons
Bike has 10:1 compresion with the heads, looked it up in SE catalogue.
To much compression for the cams, had it dynoed came out at 89.4 hp and 99.7 tq but pinging to much am going to TW55 cams more lift and duration but suited to com ratio. Don't go over 9.5-1 with those cams or you won't like it. Not a mechanic just personal experience.

That is sound advice ~ I had the same experience. Many shops will recommend 9.7 / 9.8 because it will make bigger numbers on a dyno sheet - hence "sell" more stuff. However, it's YOU that has to ride the bike day - in day out. Mine was fine as long as I had 93 octane fuel (@9.7:1), but w/o..... it was a ping monster. Pulling enough timing to get the ping out, detuned the motor & made it flat.
Just my experience.
One big differene, though.... Mine was in a Bagger, yours is much lighter. That might buy you some cushion.
