iget a few tingles when im in 5th doing about 55 and i roll throttle wide open

is this because im lugging it or is my motor to lean? weird thing is is that

i dont hear pinging in any other gears only in 5th when im at 55 and roll

throttle open hard. my bike is an 06 dyna w sc/ac cyclechak slipons and

racedownload. what do ya think?

You got a tach so you know what rpm you are at when it happens? Pinging would indicate a lean condition.

I would say that 55 in 5th & then an aggressive WOT punch is on the verge of lugging it too.... However, it could also be lean.

You really should not roll on like that at less than 65. Yes you are lugging it and if you keep doing it you will wreck your engine to the tune of $3500.00 and it will not take long.

You are against a wall of wind at that speed that requires some power so I would not run that low of an rpm at that speed. Keep the engine in its happy spot.

thanks for all the advice. its just that the six speed is a little picky in

which gear make the motor sound happy(one gear make motot chug and the next gear down make engine rev it seems like) oh well
