Hey jonpaul!
My bike is very similar to your's, as I'm running the S&S 510 G cams with a Big Sucka Intake and S&S mufflers, stage 1 download, PC III and a SE gear down kit with SE pressure plate on "Susie" my Superglide (2005 FXDI).
I ordered a round air cleaner setup from Jireh cycles for about 20 bucks, and when I tried it on, it really didn't look like there would be anough room for air to get to the filter. I guess If you were to drill some holes in the sides it might work. Keep in mind I never rode it with it on ther, I just put it on, and then put it away.......[&o]
I have it, and if you want it to play around with, it's yours......but you get to pay the shipping!
I know that Kuryakyn makes an air cleaner for EFI bikes. S&S teardrop aircleaners are col, but you would have to "make" it fit. On my old Kawasaki Chopper, I had the Kuryakyn filter with the dual butterflies, but that was a carb'ed bike.....
P.S. I'm a BIG TIME S&S fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey traveler, thanks for the offer. But, I was thinking of something in a direct replacement without adapting. I appreciate the info and will look into them. A friend of mine suggested a new cover that Ness just brought out - - some kind of a scalloped affair that I'll also check into.
