Will 96ci heads fit on 88ci motor? Is there a difference? Just wondering. Thanks in advance.

Yes they fit but you need to use 07 manifold flanges. I am running them on my 04 bike. the 06-07 have a better flowing exhaust port then earlier ones. They also have thinner valve stems so less obstruction in the ports. The flanges are like $4. a piece.

Mtc, did you change anything else??What kind of gains did you get? I am doing the motor this winter and was thinking the same thing, but sending the 96 heads for work as well as the juggs and switching cams.
Thanks

Hey Reviving old tread so is there any other modification we need to make other than the flanges not looking for upgrades just trying to get my bike running again and I found some 96” that are fairly price and hoping I can put them in my 04 elctra glide
