I have a 01 Ultra with a TC88 FI
I recently checked / replaced both my inner & outer cam tensioners. When I removed cam plate, the oil pump separated from cam plate allowing the inner gerotor to slip to bottom of case. HD manual refers to step by step assembly of pump components but ther is no reference to the two dimples embosed in each of the two gerotor parts. Does it matter which way these go in eg. both towards cam plate or opposite direction. So far easy install of cam tensioners. Mine were about 65% worn at approximately 40k miles. Installed adjustable pushrods for ease of installation. I use SYN3.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
