Question about baffles?
I have a 08 Fatboy and I just installed V&H BRs. Very pleased with them so far. One of the guys I ride with keeps wanting me to take out the baffles or at least cut them in half. His mechanic says that the bend in the pipes is enough back pressure to keep torque. I'm new to Harley's and looking for some advice from more people. Thanks in advance.

I agree, BCT are the way to go. i have them in my V& H straight shots what a difference. keep those baffles intact , you might need them to pass the ever changing inspection laws.. just spray them with WD-40 and wrap them up.

Thanks guys. The funnest thing is that he has taken the baffles out of his V&H BSS and mine are louder, and sound better according to others we rides with.
