Up close and in person, the V&H Pro Pipes will give you goosebumps.Deep & mellow - the ground underneath shakes. They keep that deep bass when you open the throttle.
I had a thunderheader that worked real well, and was pretty noisey!
Im hagin a D&D fat cat on a bike this weekend, I ll tell you about it on sunday.
I have a Rinehart 2 to 1 right now on my bike and it dosent sound bad while riding on the bike, but guys behined me say its pretty loud when I get on the throttle.
V&H big radious 2-1 sound wonderful. I just hope they are not too loud. I've asked and all say no, no sound fine. But motorcycle people are different than neighbors.
RB Racing LSR 2into1, hands down, WITH OUT a doubt !! For fit, finish and sound you cant beat it. The dyno #'s are lookin pretty good too. The t/header has a good sound but the quality of the build is horrible. The D&D Fatcat is very well built and shows excellent #'s on the dyno but has a slight "tinny" sound. I've checked out the all three of these pipes till I'm blue in the face and I just dropped my money on the RB Racing 2into1 LSR after hearing one in person today. Its got a nice rumble at idle (that hd sound, but not too loud) but when he opened it up pullin away from me it sounded like a Big Block Chevy.........NICE !!!!! \\\\IMHO////
Thunderheader sounds good under power but the idle was much too tame for me. I switched from the thunderheader to Hooker 4 into 1 (fourbidden) and it's the best sound I have heard yet. The idle is just flat out gnarley, wide open sounds mean, and cruising speeds it sounds tame. Another choice is the Exotic Lakes, very nice looking and very deep rumble. I don't know about the others mentioned because I have not heard them.
