I just installed Heritage bars on the 04 RoadGlide, throttle sticks open and I have to force it back up. I tried adjusting the tension on the casing around the throttle handle itself but it doesnt seem to help. Can anyone help me out?Tick
You might need to lube your cables. Also the new bars might be binding the throttle sleeve. Try moving the throttle assembly out a bit further and see if it does better.
I don't know if the Delphi system has the same type of plate that's on my Magnetti-Morelli system, but look and see if you have a plate on a stem to the right of the intake that moves with the throttle. If so, it works the cold idle function and has a miniature bearing in it that could have gone bad. Also the bottom part of the throttle assembly at the throttle body could be gunked up. A good cleaning with carb cleaner might help too!
