I'm really new to the forum and Harley's. I bought a chrome insert for my stock oval shaped air cleaner cover. First thing I notice is I don't have an Allen Wrench (or whatever wrench is required) large enough to remove the stock air cleaner screw. Can one of you guys let me know what kind/size of tool I need to buy to do this. Any recommendations on some basic tools I should pickup as well. Thanks.
It is a 5/16 inch allen head bolt. There are several allen bolts on the bike so it makes sense to get a whole set. My advice would be to get a quality set so you don't ruin the bolts or the wrenches. Just my .02
