OK this has probably been beat to death...but I need help making up my mind.
I can't decide between Samson BG3's slasher or V&H Big Shots....I like the look of the samsons, but have heard that V&H are a better qulaity product and that V&H is better in the power department. I'm gonna put these pipes on an 07 Low Rider....ok so any input would be appreciated especially from guys who own these pipes in question....
i decided on v&h BR 2-1 for my bike...i like the look and the sound. I have been told that for performance they are just so-so. i heard sampson ground pounders and they sounded pretty radical. not sure of the sound of the bg3's. in retrospect, had i thought it out a little longer, i would have put thunderheaders on my bike. too late now, i'm tapped out of cash...lol
I have heard of some people having problems with their Samson's. So far I have had no problems with mine and I like them. I'm running BG3's Boloney Cut on my 06 Low Rider. The sound they make is great, they really wake up the motor.
Bart nice looking scoot....am I seeing things or are there mid controls in the last pic? The first couple pics I see forwards, but it appears you still had the mids in the last shot...or am I still just hungover here on sunday morning.....
I like the Samsons, but I really don't want to go to forward controls right now,,,or is it neccesary to move the controls for those pipes?
Thanks for the pics!!!
i just installed v/h big shots , very easy installation by the way. the dealer was pushing
pythons another the big shots i had the opportunity to listen to a pair of bigshots on a 88"
sounded awsome. i paid the extra. and my bike 07 std softail with cobra 02fuel management
and se stage 1 , runs and sounds like a dream. and v/h has an excellent customer support
center ,one of the bung holes for the 02 sensorshad bad threads. i called and immediateley
the man shipped another header no questions asked no suspicious questions , just where
do i send you another, i was amazed.
