Default Baffles

I have a set of Wild Pig mufflers on my '01 E Glide carbed. The baffles are currently 2" and am going to put the 1 3/4" baffles in, as I would like to quiet them down a little. Will these baffles ACTUALLY be a little quiter and will I lose performance??? Thanks...

I would think that they should be a little quieter. I have Caliber exhaust. The exhaust came with 2 sets of baffles. They recommend using the smaller baffles (1-3/4") for a stock bike or a bike with mild modifications.

They should be a little quieter. Did you have the system remapped when you put them on.

If you did you might have to remap. If you are running the stock map you probably be ok. You will be actually increasing the back pressure.

When you put in the new baffels, change plugs. After a couple of hundred miles pull them and check the coloring.
