My Street Glide has the black engine. I was wondering how I can get it to look new again?
I waxed my bike a few months ago and got some over spray wax on the black part and cant seem to get it off. Any suggestions?
wendy
in the past i used the black stuff in the tube
its used for cast iron stoves, firplaces
when they get chalky and greay from heat
comes in a large toothbrush type tube
same texture as tooth paste you can find it on ebay for like 4 bucks
best part about it is one tube will last longer than your bike
you only need a half a finger full on a rag
but my god.....dont get the **** on yer hands!
i have had the same tube for 8 years now
and its still half full....my fireplace is big to!
pm me when yer done let me know how it went
you'll be shocked
heres a pic........
You can also try S100 engine brightener , it's in a red can and most H-D dealers carry it I used it on my 02 Fatty and I was pleased with the results, cya!
