BAFFLES OR TORQUE CONES?????????

Default BAFFLES OR TORQUE CONES?????????

I have a 76 shovel that I had gotten running better with the help from a few guys on this forum, thanks again, I got the carb set up, and I still had some problems mid range,&nbsp\\; a buddy of mine let me try his 3' baffles, man what a difference, I had more power and tq, now I'm trying to figure which is better performence wie baffles or torque cones, thanks again,&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbs p\\; Mark

Unfortunately baffles perform better depending on what you want (Torque or horspower) .
But&nbsp\\;baffles don't sound nearly as good .

Larry and jhnmflr are correct baffles are better....the tq cone restrict exhaust flow right at the exhaust valve and this KILLS performance.
