I am seriously contemplating an entire engine swap. My current engine (on a 2001 FLHRCi) is a modified HD TC88, with a big bore kit 95ci, SE heads and pistons. It still runs fine, but I want much more power... The idea is that I swap the engine, complete with EFI and replace it with a new one (also complete). When I sell the bike, I make the swap again... This may look as an expensive move, but I live in the Netherlands and dollar prices are much more attractive for us here.

I'm looking at a JIMS 120 (SE edition) or a JIMS 131, complete assembly, but there is also the 'normal' HD 110ci, S&amp\\;S, TP, Ultima, Revtech, etc... I want at least 120HP and 120lbs/ft torque in combination with a reliable and durable engine. which should fit without modifications. And it should last many miles... Is this at all possible?

Does anyone have an hands on experience (or an opinion) with a brand or type he wishes to share. What would you recommend?

My opinion is Jims. I lean toward the big engine. Got to also beaf up the clutch.

 

I agree with Old Gunny....Jim's has a good motor, along with S&amp\\;S.
