I could be wrong though. \\; They have made some changes, faster \\;than before, by going with the 88" and then the 96" so quickly. \\; \\; And to keep up with the Jones, a 100" or 110" motor could be on their minds. \\; Maybe for their 110th anniversary. \\;  \\;
I think Harley will always offer a choice to those who have the big bucks to spend on a few more cubic inches, hence the Screaming Eagle models. \\; There's also more profit in it for them to sell a smaller engine, and then give you engine upgrade options to spend more money on, plus keep their dealer's shop mechanics busy during the winter months installing the upgrades.
I would rather see harley go with an engine similar to the S&S X-wedge rather than making the same old thing bigger. Probably won't happen anytime soon....
I have always thought the HD's were good looking engines. Flat heads were probably the least attractive of the HD's in my opinion. Knuckles, Pans, Evos and Twins are a beauty \\;to the eye. The Indian 100 Power Plus with its round cylinder and rocker box cover is a work of art. The S&\\;S X Wedge has a short , ugly , almost metric look to it. \\;The HD Revolution is not that attractive to me. If HD moves too far from the V-Twin and its looks, it loses it heritage. 88" \\; TC came out in 1999. \\; It took until 2007 for it to become 96". \\; It meets or exceeds EPA until 2010. \\; My guess is it won't change until after that.
