Default Oil leakage?

I just purchased a used 1986 Heritage Softail, the bike runs great. My only concern is that I'm getting oil leakage through the crank case breather. I was wondering if anyone else ever had this problem, what would cause this problem. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The breather filter is saturated, but I don't know how old it is, so I'll change that and see what happens. If thats not the problem what else might I look at? Thanks for the help.

If you have a spot of oil the size of a nickle or a quarter on the ground after a ride it's no big deal, if it is larger than that it's gettin ga little excessive.&nbsp\\; If yo udon't ride in a week or so and get lots of oil out of the breather it's from wet sumping and that is normal with the EVO and Shovel motors .The ball check in the oil pump is seeping from some debris on the seat allowing oil to feed into the engine.
