Hard starting suddenly
Recently my '94 Evo \\;with 42,000 miles isn't wanting to idle when I start it up. Its OK after about 2 miles of riding but it will \\;die if the clutch is pulled without feathering the throttle. \\;Its been a real easy starter since I got it 2 years and 18,000 miles \\;ago. \\;Ive changed the plugs but not wires or coil with no luck. \\;I \\;checked &\\; cleaned the K/N air filter but it was good. Again no luck. \\;I ran the tank almost empty and refilled it. I probably need to empty it and check the filter. \\;I plan on doing this tomorrow \\;along with \\;installing an inline external filter and leaving the one out of the tank. \\;

Any ideas out there, other than taking it to the dealer 20 miles away? \\;
