A 2-1 gives the best preformance hands down. As far as which one is a matter of personal taste (sound and looks.) Most name brands will give you similar #'s on the dyno (give or take a few hp/tq.) Research the company you are going to deal with. Customer service carries a lot of weight. I know from personal experience working in a bike shop that Rich Products (Thunderheader) sucks. I've seen more than one Thunderheader have the chrome peel off right from the box. They want you to pay to ship it back, wait till they receive the defective unit, and then pay for shipping on a new unit. By the way they're in CA (not cheap to ship to the east coast.) You don't want to deal with people like that. Do your homework.
i will second both the fat cat and shooter64. just got some new 'upgrades' from him (which i will post pics later ;-) knowledgeable, great to deal with, and has good prices to boot.
Can't decide which way to go; 2-2 thunderheaders or 2-1 Rinehart.

Does Thunderheader even make a 2 into 2? Or do you mean their mufflers?
There's no one "best" exhaust, or type of exhaust. 2 into 1's are good, but almost all have a hole in the torque curve in the mid-range (especially the Thunderheader), which is approximately cruising speed with the current 6 speeds. You need to decide where you want power and look at systems that dyno well there.
I myself have just taken off my Rineharts 2:1 from my Deuce. A little because
of too many tickets and a little because of performance. I know many say that
2:1's out perform any 2:2's. But I swear that the stock 1 3/4 pipes with screaming
eagle gaskets and a set of screaming eagle II mufflers are out performing the
2:1's I had on. Anyways, when I sell my Rineharts. I'm going to try a set of the
new D&D LowCats with the quiet baffles.

Yeah Thunderheader does make a true dual system. They are very costly. I saw a set of black thunderheader that just came up on ebay that were dirt cheap. When I got home to bid on them, they were gone; vanished. Should have been another 6 days left???
Everyone's comments are appreciated. I wil get a good performing 2-1 exh. sys so that when it's time to do the engine work I won't have to purchase another system. IMO the Thunderheaders perform well & are ugly, well sorta but looks are not the deciding factor.
