Default Feuling pump?? HELP

I just ordered a feuling pump and support plate, going to have it installed tomorrow. I also got my Baisley 002 spring in the mail today. Is there really a need to add the spring with the new pump? I hate being CORN-fused. I would like to hear your expernice on this. Thanks

Thanks... It wouldn't hurt would it? Will it still increase the pressure? would it be too much?

The spring is only going to increase max pressure to over 40. The fueling plate has it's own high pressure spring and valve set up. I have never taken one out and weighed the spring but I don't think it would be necessary. Lastly, the baisley spring might be lighter and that wouldn't be good!

Myself, I would have just installed the 002 spring into the stock plate and kept the stock pump and plate. I have close to 10,000 miles on my build now and 25,000 miles on the stock pump and plate with the 002 spring. Stock is good enough for 99% of the builds out there, the rest is just tossing money away.

I picked my bike up today with the new feuling pump and support plate. puking oil back to the tank real good. The old pump, that had 28900 on it had rubbed. Something must of went through it or the last builder didn't install correctly. So all said and done, I'm cool with the new stuff. I mean hell it's only money, Right?
I didn't install the Baisley..

What exactly do you mean by puking oil back to the tank? Is this a good thing?

Yeah it's all good. puking just meant it is returning to the tank. when it was wet sumping it was not, it remained in the bottom of the crank and the motor would shake until some rpm were added to help the scavenging. Peace
