Default Fueling Super Pump

When I change to a gear drive cam set on my Ultra Classic I was thinking about using the Fueling Super Pump..has anyone here tried this pump and if so what are your thoughts on the pump. Any reply's appreciated.

I have not used one, it's a fairly good pump once Feuling got their act together, but if it were me and you wanted to change out the pump to a better one I would go with the HD high volume pump pn#26037-06 for $184 as opposed to Feuling's $428. On the other hand when I put gears in my 04 I kept the stock pump and just checked the gerotors and wavy washer to assure they were in spec and then put in a Baisley LMR-02 bypass spring for $12 and got all kinds of oil pressure. The stock HD pump isn't that bad of a unit.

I did Hawgman, very happy with the fueling pump, no more super low readings at idle when hot, and consistently higher oil pressure readings across the board. I'm pretty sure my engine appreciates it.
I wouldnt hesitate if you're already in there, the fueling doesnt use the waive washers betwixt the gears either.

For the amount of money for the Feuling I am switching to the new SE billet cam plate and pump. It is based on the newer style in the 07's and up and is supposed to increase volume like the Fueling. Of course I am replacing due to tensioner failure, but, it gave me a good reason to upgrade to gear drive as well. I ordered the new plate/pump combo from Chicago HD along with four new "b" style lifters fro about $460. Not bad considering the Fueling pump is about that much. Just my $.02. Good luck.

I run the Feuling Race Pump.
At speed, it's pumping 47 lbs.
At a light, it drops to 18 lbs., on average.
Good pump...exceptional customer service at Feuling.

Default Oil Pump

Just had my engine built 2003 Ultra Classic, Used the HD pump with a S&S (I think) ball/spring upgrade, my oil pressure stays pegged , even when hot. I did have to put in a new pump as one of my chain tensioners came apart and went thru the pump. I am using and Andrews Gear Drive w/ S & S Gears. Gary
