i recently purchased s.e slipons for my dresser,..h.d. part # 65115-98b,..i am looking for some piston style end caps,..the dealer did not have any,..any ideas where to look?..thanks
I'd start with Zanottis, but you might want to hunt on E-Bay. (I have heard that the 98Bs are sold as Supertrapp SEs, since HD subbed ST in making the 65115-98B for them.....but I cannot confirm that)
FYI....the tips that fit your mufflers are not the same as the ones that fit the 65259-00 HD Touring mufflers that are still available. The ones you want use button-headed screws along with the tips. The tips for the HD Touring muffs have screws that fit flush with the surface of the muffler body (countersunk hex headed) and utilize a fit ring between the tip and the muffler. They look alike but are not interchangeable. (different diameters)
