K&N question
Hi,
New to the forum. Great site! I just got my 1st bagger( pic coming soon) 07' FLHTP 103". K&N is telling me they do not make a air filter for my bike? Has anyone else run into this problem? I thought maybe you could use a custom application for an earlier SE engine? Any input would be great. Thanks alot!

I questioned this part# when they said it won't work. The vehicle application page doesn't list an air filter for a 103". Do you know if the new backplate will match up? Thanks

Motor size is irrelevant, as that has no bearing.....
An 88/95/96/103/110/113/120/124/131" motor all use the same type of air cleaner assy...
For instance, you go to the local bike shop to get a Stock AC (Filter), you are going to get the same one for a 96" motor....
Your bike doesn't have anything different from a production 96, other than bigger bore, cams, unique ECM calibration, ACR's and an oil cooler....
The external motor dimensions are the EXACT SAME.....
Also, What NEW backplate are you referring to??? If your backplate is an aluminum plate (Not the OE Black plastic bowl), then you will need the HD-0800 http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=HD-0800
