OK..I have an 08 road king standard. I was wondering if I could change back to the cable guided butterfly without too much trouble. Or would I need to find an ecm from an 07 and the butterfly setup in order to do this?
just curious as I heard that I only get a percentage of the throttle twist at a time with tbw as opposed to the cable type more positive respone.

Yes, you would need to get ahold of the 07 system.... The ENTIRE Harness, ECM, TB Unit, etc...
The ONLY reason that you are not getting a true 1:1 ratio from Twist grip to Plate is due to the fact that the ECM, in it's programming prevents it from opening too far too fast...
The motor can only process so much air and fuel at a given time, and if too much air is introduced, the motor bogs down....
There are only 2 tuning devices that can access this particular table (Throttle Progressivity Table)... The SEPST and the TTS Master Tune...
