Affordable? Now thats funny!!! Build sounds like what you were looking for. Can't wait to see the dyno sheet. I just did the 103", 10.5.1, mild port, 260 cams (.609 lift), springs, heavier clutch, SERT with 6500 rev limiter, yadda yadda yadda...can't wait to dyno mine if it ever stops raining so I can get more that the 20 miles on it I have now...
Everything I was going to add about the high octane race fuel has been said already, but just to add to it a bit, you had better be careful if you tune doesn't reccommend it you will burn pistons up pretty quick. Just be careful
VP Red or CAM II, WILL make most engines run very smooth.
They are leaded fuels so O2 sensor owners beware.
We have experimented with a lot of different fuels over the years, and have found little on the Dyno, on engines that are not in need of it.
Anyone ever add a touch of VP M1 alcohol to the mixture? We use it as an additive on our turbocharged cars, set to come on at a given boost pressure. It allows more boost for a given octane level, has an intake charge cooling effect, and acts a real good cleaning agent.
I know most bikes won't need it for the performance gain, but...
How about just a hint every now and then to help clean off deposits on the valves, pistons, spark plugs, etc...?

Be careful as it can remove what little lubricity gas has in it.

Ive heard of guys cleaning there v-twins with water , by taking a spray bottle and some water and spraying a fine mist of water into there intake while the bike is running to keep the carbon buildup to a minimum .
I run E-85 in my blown 383 stroker chevy and it keep everything really "clean" .
I wander what E-85 would do as far as running say a gallon of E-85 mixed in with a full tank of gas every once in awhile just to keep your engine nice and clean from carbon biuild up .
I mess around with old tractors and hit & miss engines, if it ain't rust it's chrome!!!! Anyway, one way to get the old hit & miss engines to run sloooow is to run them rich and with that comes carbon build-up. So every so often, after the engine is warmed up, a little misting of water, cleans the valves right up.
