75 shovel,
There is a guy named Mark Vanderkwaak (sp) who has a website called Duckman's Bitchin Biker Page (www.dbbp.com).
He is running a Weber on his shovelhead. He may have some suggestions about what to do or who to contact for help.
He lives in Europe but has traveled here and to other countries going to MC shows and visiting bike shops.
He may be worth a try...
you want redlineweber.com for weber parts. If the carb has been sitting up, go to a vw/racing specialist/hobbist and have him rebuild the carb. It will need to be split down to basics and soaked to remove the varnish. You won't believe how many parts there are. My guy ripped my two DCOE's open in about 15 minutes each. Soaked for 48 hours, rebuild kits -about 30 bucks each. Still trying to tweak the em. You will only need one carb with two active barrels.
The kit on my bike takes two carbs, dummies one tube on each carb and feeds each cylinder with one tube. Looks cool, but somewhat of a pain. Linkage was a challenge to configure.
