leak under my gas tank

Beside buying a new tank does any one know what I can use that will stop this leak?

Could you give some details to where it is leaking and what year/model the bike is?

gas tank leak

the bike is an 81 fxwg and i just orderd new 5 gal tanks i would rather fix the problem know instead of on the road somewhere. iam leaving for Georgia in about 3 weeks so ill spend the money on new tanks.

I have a 94 wideglide and have a leak under my tank also. its coming out of the steel tube that runs through the left side for the fuel guage wires. It rusted out toward the top and the only way I could fix it besides puttin a new tank on was to drain the tank until it stoped leakin and pack some jb weld up through the bottom, granted its only a temp. fix but it will get ya by for a while.
