Your sig says you also have S&S 585 cams. Now, I don't know much, but wouldn't the 585's give you better performance than the 203's that come with the kit? The 203s are a mild cam from what I hear.
Don't know if it's cheaper than the whole kit, but I'm thinking of having my stock cylinders bored and stock heads modified, then getting a hotter cam, maybe the HQ 0034, Andrews 37, or Woods TW-6. Throw a 2 into 1 exhaust like the Fat Cat on, and I think I'll be pleased.
I may do the cams, roller chain conversion, and Fat Cat first, then saving for the BB Kit and headwork. Don't know yet. I would also like to sale my PCIII and get the TTS too. Who knows?
yes the s&s 585's are a pretty hot cam.they like atleast 10-1 to 10.5-1 comp. mine is only 9.7-1 so they don't really kick in till about 3000 rpms then it really takes off. i would say for sure do a gear drive cam kit
