Why are they telling you they can't get it right? I had an indy do mine, went with the SEST works great, also went with SE 251 cams instead of 260's and went with the SE MVA CNC Ported intead on the non-ported ones and the 58mm TB that is compatible with my cruise control. So I guess mine is not really an out of the box Stage IV.

they said the bike is not getting enough fuel they also said that they swapped the pc III with a brand new one and still nothing i think they didnt recalibrate the ECU to give the bike more fuel after they did put high performance fuel injectors

First off, the recal of the ECU is a moot point, as you stated that you didn't need the SE Tuner.. That is where the correct map is... The PC probably can't compensate for the 4.89 Gms/Sec load, vice the 3.91 gms/Sec load that the stock injectors provide....

It would be in your best interest to utilize the SE Tuner, as it has the correct parameters for that unique build.... PC's can only adjust 25-30% from the Base Map that is in the ECM... And that is at the limit of the stock injectors (With a stock/legal ECM cal)...

Additionally, that build does MUCH better with a 2:1 pipe (That is what it was designed for... Higher HP, ok Tq)....

Professional opinion.... use the SE Tuner or trhe TTS Tuner, Less hardware, much more flexibility for "Off builds"....

thanks shovelhead bob for that good advice. the kit did come with the sert but my stealer only deals with pc III they use sert in there shop what should i do in your opinion? Also if i get the ECU recal can the PC work until i could get it to a local indy shop so they can install the sert for me?

ECM recal is out of the question.... The only 103 flash that they have readily available is the "Legal" one in the DT II... and that will cost 150.00....

They are a HD Shop, and they know nothing about the SE Tuner... Scary....

I'd tell you to get them to flash it with the correct map (SE Tuner, if they can figure it out), and get it to a tuner that KNOWS and UNDERSTANDS the SE Tuner...

If you were near me, I would hook you up... Where in NY are you located???

The HD shops do not know how to tune SE tuner is right on the money. You wouldn't believe the mess they left my engine in one cylinder lean the other rich decel pop robbing power , O2 sensors ruined beyond repair. Never again will I trust these yahoo's to tune anything.
