HELP cams and such
Well i went out and bought a 91 sporty all chromed and beautiful 1000 miles ago before i bought it complet engine overhaul new pistons flywheels as far as i can see from invoice every thing 1 owner lotsa miles same mechanic 15 yrs blah blah blah
well here my problem maby all you all can help drove to vegas to pick up rode it a little every thing seemed fine paid for it got home got it up to about 40 mph noticed a little vibration not much noise seeemed to be more on accceleration than just crusin put about 40 miles on it decided to check it out more took it to a shop they said yes somthing is wrong decided to pull case off when they did 4 of the 4 cams spun the bushings. all new 1000 miles ago well mechanic (old one 15 yrs on this bike) says o well no warrenty on this the new mechanic says $2500.00 min to fix could this be a fair price for the job we cant figure out why they spun (??no assembly lube???WRONG BUSHINGS????ect.) will i have the same prob again we are waiting on specs on inside bushing holes from hd
I know i got ripped off but oh well things like this have a way to take care of themselves (carma)
