80 softail
I'm new to Harleys 19 just bought a 80 softail for $350, heres the problem I bought a new batt put it in and rode it less than a 1/8 of a mile it died. pushed it home put the jump pac on it started right up and the second i took the jump pac off it died out did this a few times and at a lost here any ideas what gone wrong here thank in advanced

Sounds like a bad battery to me. I do not think a good battery would go dead that fast even if the charging circuit was bad. A fully charged battery will run you quite a ways before it dies. You did charge the battery before you put it in the bike didn't you?

Yes I did charge the battery and i tested it with load tester too and it good, with bike running the load tester is only reading bad, the load tester is only a cheap red yellow green light tester but it works
