06 Deluxe Stalling
Ive ran through the previous threads but didnt get any clear answers about what people did to correct their issues.
Ive got a 06 Deluxe fuel injected. Ive recently purchased it. Two things happened about the same time. I 1st noticed the speedo stopped working and then the bike started to stall at intersections. Bike would fire back up but then 1 or 2 stops later it would die again.
As far as the guage goes. I replaced it with a stock guage still no luck. I checked the connection near the speed sensor it was still connected no corrosion. I did notice the speedo jump up once after I noticed it stop working.
I checked the plugs there is no smell of fuel. The bike has stock pipes but the baffles are removed.
Also notice the check engine light come on but then eventually shut off.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Softail....check the wires in the wiring harness carefully!!! Had a bike this year that did the same thing. 2 wires that ran up the side of the battery were chafed from the negative terminal bolt.
