What was thechange that Harley made in 1995 to the exhaust on the Electraglides? Was it only the way that the mufflers attach to the header pipes, or is there more to it than that?
If it is only the way the mufflers attach, then is there any reason that I could'nt put the V&H True Duals for the 1995 Eglide onto my '92, as long as I use the 1995 mufflers?

i have a friend with an 85 glide, we put it next to my 97 and there are a few differences but im real sure the later model exhaust will fit on the eariler models. the biggest difference was his exhaust was pretty straight and the mufflers had a bridge lookin thing welded to the mufflers which made them hang lower under the bags. and this kept them straight in line with the exhaust pipes. the newer models, the pipes bend around the engine then take a bend upward to shoot them straight out the back and they fit snug under the bags. you probally should find someone with a glide and check out his exhaust. if you want ill send some pics of my rineharts installed. good luck!
