Default Cam Install Video?

Just picking up a 09 RKC and will be doing the usual 1st steps... exhaust, AC and either PC or TTS. I would like to install Andrews 54h as well, but have never done it before. How difficult a job is it? Is there a video that would explain the process in detail?

Thanks for any response

The 54h likes more compression than a stock bike offers, closer to 10:1.
Also have seen a few run them in six speed bikes with stock heads, only to take them back out as with the higher gearing the power comes on a little later. Running an advance key and going with a 2-1 exhaust system will help some. Or, if not going over heads and bumping compression you might look to the andrews 26. Will do a better job of putting the power down low where you need it on a 96" touring bike with stock compression.

As far as the video, I cant help you. When I did my build I bought the manual for my bike and just tore into it.

On later model bikes, its not that difficult. If you do the work, it may void warranty. Sorry no vid, but lots of links to help you. Here is a good one:

The Australian web site that KumaRide posted is the one that I used, that and a manual, to swap my first set of cams. Pretty easy and straight forward. I went ahead and bought the tools for the bearing swap (not really needed ona new bike) from George's Garage and tore into it.

Ryan is correct, too. You may want to look at an Andrews 21 or 26 for you Stage 1 bike.
Some like the SE 255s, too. Good luck, HAHAHA These three cams are beat to death on which one is 'best'.

I went with 21s when my bike was a stage 1.
