Here I go opening a can of worms!!! I want to start doing work on the engine. I would like to aquire all of the needed components and do everything at one time. I have a 09 Street Glide with nothing but the Race Tuner, Pt. #32109-08A, Rinehart Slip-Ons and a Screamin'Eagle "Heavy Breather" Performance Air Cleaner Kit, Pt. #29006-09. I am okay with taking any of that off and replacing it with something better. I don't want another 103 kit with a full system and a cam, I would really like to go all out while maintaining resonable reliability. I would be grateful for knowledgable info. Thanks!
That makes sense and my answer will most likely not. I want what I guess everyone really wants, The best mix of everything. I would like something that is 100+ and 100+ on the torque and hp, I do mostly ride around the DFW area, but would like to ride to 2-3 ralleys a year.
One more thing, I would like to use the Roland Sands Air Cleaner Part Number 1010-0423 that would match my wheels and the exhaust has to be available in a black finish. Thank you to everyone. I am new to HD thing so if I am leaving anything out please bare with me and let me know.
100/100 is not a big chore. Headwork, cam change, pipe, air cleaner ,tune.
If going "all out" and looking for something that'll get your attention, (as well as your friends) then a tame 117" comes to my mind. Those settle in at about 125-130 ft lbs.
