I posted this on the Softail Forum and thought after I did that this would be a better spot.

I have a 1999 FLSTC with
97" Axtell Kit
S&S Super E
Santee 2 1/4 pipes
My problem is I can't seem to get the beast to idle smoothly.
TONS of carbon on plugs & coming from the exhaust,
stalls at the most inconvenient times
and I am getting horrible fuel milage.
We have tried adjusting the air/fuel mixture screw with no positive results.

Does this sound like an intake leak??????????
If it isn't an intake leak any other opinions?????

What happens if you screw the idle mixture screw in? How many turns out do you have it?
