Dollars/HP increase?
The only thing you would see is my tail lights. You're HD gonna do 200mph is 20 seconds or less..please.
I love my Harley (s). My 95ci Roadglide is my favorite and will keep up with most V Twin (with over 100hp and 127ft lbs of torque,) but to state that it will out perform a High Performce Jap bikes is ludricous.
You got some fuzzy math there also. The Busa's are over 500lbs and the 1000's are over 400lbs.
Love these debates!
Sportbikes are amazing machines-freeway or open road they will walk away from even the fastest HD but they are vulnerable at a stoplight or
short burst roll-on race.

granted a 600 is better game to play with then a 1000 or zx 1100 or a busa.,

Sorry if you cannot accept that, but it are, what it are.
Bob Wood's personal 124" has 150 square, with a 4.08 gear and he absoluetly PILE-DRIVES V-Max's into total embarrasment, as per him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unless you have ridden one of these mentioned machines, or witnessed this display first hand, you would doubt. But don't.

Those bigger Ninja's and GSXR's are just plain godawful scary things in terms of their power, handling, quick wind up, braking, etc. Regular mortals should not ride them to their full potential.
I gotta say I love those bikes....they are fast and beautiful... but I can't get one because I want to live a nice long life.
So, I'll be stylin' on my dyna for a good long time I hope. They are plenty cool!
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
from a dead stop i will run neck and neck with a 1000 up to about 100 mph or maybe a tad more then they start to pull away if i limit my wheel spin and start in second and a lot of clutch illl get a good 1-1 1/2 bike length on them . depends on the weather too cold or cool ill spin tire all the way thru 2nd and 3rd gear.
so if you think a little 250 is going to keep up when i stay with a 1000 your dreamin ..
maybe a 250 will beat the snot out of a stock bike but thereare guys on this forum who build/built some real nasty v-twins. and there are guys on this forum like PW who make it a habit to beat them at the track with a worked bikes.
do not underestimate a 117 ,120 ,124 or 126 ci motors they will hurt ya if you are not careful.
these bikes are not easy to ride but must be ridden with the utmost respect just like the sport bikes they are not machines you get on and think you just turn the throttle and go fast any fool can go fast in a streight line alls it takes is a motorcycle and a fool.
get some time in the saddle of a real sport bike or a hot rodded harley and you will see. i know guys who race on weekends at the track and very good. 1000cc bikes at the track will hurt ya and a harley with 140 ft lbs of tq and hp will do the same.
if you lived closer to me i would have ya come by and you take your bike and ill take mine and you will see.
