Andrews cams or S&S cams???

Andrews cams or S&S cams???
i'am going to change cams in my 05 twin cam 88 and i've came down to these two the andrews TW37B cam or the S&S 510. Any info good or bad on either. Or if it was your bike which one would you go with? Thanks

Can't say anything bad about either, but you will pay more for Andrews, 'cause you still have to buy the gears from S&S, as far as I know. I have 510G's and like 'em.

I have the S&S 510G. I've alway's been very happy with the perfomance but ever sence I've went to Big Bore and 10.5:1 compression I get alot of pinging at low RPM. From what I found the S&S 510G is not made for higher compression engines. So next winter I'm going to swap the cams for something else. At this time I don't know what I'll be going with. In the meantime I'm using alot of octan booster to help with the pinging.

10.5:1 is WAY to much compression for a 510. They are good cams but you can bet they will ping if you exceed 9.7:1.
Easy fix... replace those HC pistons w/flat-tops.
