Build ???????
. My question is what to do. Already have PC-V, Khrome werks 3" HP-PLUS slip ons and K & N 1 5/8" A/C.How much will just a cam add? if i go to a bore what is the cost? Lookin for most bang for buck with a solid build. let me hear your opinions.
big bore kit costs any where from 500 bucks on up depending what you want.
because its a dyna i would go with something that has a little more snap . i would get scotty from hillside to bore the jugs for 98 and go with a set of baisley heads super stock( i know a guy who has some in stock) and t-man 590 or 625 cam.
now if going conservative get some 95in hd pistons cast and have the jugs bored to fit . have your heads done by scotty or t-Man stg 1 go with a t-man 525 cam
the 95 in way is cheaper
what type of riding do ya do with the dyna and a round about cost factor will give a better indication
are you going to do the work??
if just bumping to a cam is what ya want the 26 or t-man 525 will do butthepoewer will be in the head work and added compression plus cubic inches.
me i love my Baisley build and i would only recomend a few other builders to ya . Baisley, Hillside , T-Man , Hq thats about it.
A Wood TW8, Hillside stage 3 heads and 98ci kit with proper compression will ROCK!
Propably in the 110hp+tq level when tuned with a good pipe...
Than...build that bagger for touring...
A tw6 cam, stage 2 heads, and a 98 kit for that as well....
Than you would have 2 purpose built horses in the stable...
