The manual has a pretty good shot at the procedure. I would add to it , but I am at work now. You don't NEED to buy tools, but there are a couple that might make it easier. To hold the tensioner, they recommend one of their tools to rotate the tensioner and another to hold it. I rotated it with pliers and held it in place with an appropriate sized allen key.
