I have the BCT QQ in my V&H BSS when I talked with them at BCT they told me to put them up the pipe at least 6" the further up the better.I put mine all the way up to the power chamber.
When I first put them in using the old baffle screw hole they were loud as hell and it also had a whistle at certain rpm's. Now that I moved them up,no whistle and it took it down a notch (not much) but at least my right ear isn't ringing after a long ride
