Anyone ever heard of D-Man cams? I think that is what I was told they are. Maybe I have the wrong name and someone can help me. Any info would be appreciated. Also need info on Direct Link Tuners. Are they any good? Adjustable enough to increase cubes someday? Thank you.

You may be refering to T-man??
Good cams from what we've seen, but seem to be an offshoot from Bob Wood cams. www.woodcarbs.com. We've used Bob's cams now for almost 15 years.
Direct Link, is Techno-Research, Royal Oak, Michigan.

Now I would not say they are a off shoot of Woods cams. Thats like saying Woods cams are an off shoot of Andrews cams...There are only so many ways to grind a cam who has the magic number???? It all depends on the engine builder and how he or she understands cams. And which one he or she should pick for you when building a motor. For your type of riding style.
Andrews just about cuts everyones cams and helps them design them here in....IL. I have talked to them about making my own cams for my super charged built engines and helping me with my designs. And guess what there all very close to whats out there now...

Direct Link, TTS, SERT, are all good tuning devices. Now trying to find a competent person to tune them is the hardest part Do some looking around in your area and find a good dyno guy (they're hard to come by). Find out what he is proficient with and go with that......

The guy I am talking with just started his business. He has experience but he is new to his own business. This bothers me a little. What if he has to quit his own business and work for someone else? How will his work be warrantied? Just not sure. The other guy I talked with really knows his business. The problem is, he is near Indianapolis. I don't want to have to go back and have him retune it if I make any changes. But he is supposed to be very good. Still thinking about it. Thank you all for the help. I really appreciate it. Well if you're gonna drive all the way to Indiana, then I'd suggest going to see John over at Flying W Performance. Give John a call, he's a super nice guy. http://www.flyingwperformance.com
John does some great work. I believe he likes the TTS also.

Take a good close look at the timimg specs, lifts, duration, and you'll see what I am refering to. Not replicas, but the similarities are very evident.
Bob Wood cams are not like Andrews Products cams, at all. He does have them grind them to his specs, as does S&S(or they did for decades), as they grind for many outfits, including us.
No fighting from me either, just pointing out what we see.
