Default Engine Respray ?

Im going to respray my engine and primary in situ this this winter.
Has anyone done this before ? If so have you got any advice as to which products are the best , the best way of preping the surface and the best way to carry out the respray.
I want to do this with out having to remove the engine.

Well, I wouldn't recommend anything less than powder coating, which of course would be difficult "in situ".

You will at least need to degrease the engine with Gumout or something similar, then wipe it down with laquer thinner, being careful not to get any on the frame, etc.

It's just not a practice that I would ever recommend.
