Default Drag Specialities question

What is the difference between Drag Spec and Vance and Hines. One person has told me they are about the same while many other people tell me V&H is the best and nothing can compare.

Still fighting the decision on which pipes to get and I like some of them from DS but I want the quality of V&H.

Anyone familiar with these pipes?

i think V&H make the Drag Specialiities pipes for example the Python 2-1 is almost exactly the same as the V&H pro pipe. V&H makes the Python for DS. I could be wrong but this is the way I understand it.

That's how I understand it as well. So the Python venom radius is the same as vance and hines big radius...weird....

Basically yes. It may be slightly different. The only difference I see between the V&H Pro and the Python 2-1 is the cut on the end. The Python is a slash cut and the pro pipe is a square cut. But when I look at the Venom Radius to me it looks the same as the V&H Big Radius

So why change the name then? I don't understand that, does the quality level change?

All made in the same place; V&H makes most of the similar "house" pipes for Drag. I have run the Python 3 2:1, my brother runs the V&H Propipe. Like thedon says, same same except for the tail pipe; same head pipes. Different tail pipe, similar but different sound. The chrome will eventually yellow on both at the transition from head pipe to tail pipe. If you want to pay more for the V&H, your call.
